Yoga & Art Worskhop
A Workshop that enabled particpants to connect to their body and mind through guided breath work, simple stretching, and yoga. From this space of connection with the body and mind, art was be created. Beginning with a meditation, connecting to the breath, art was abstract watercolor paintings were created. Following this, a writing exercise was implemented where partcipants wrote about their experience painting, reacting to the formal propoerties of their work as well as their own personal experiences.
The workshop served as a way to create art from the inside. Thus, creating work inspired by the subconscious images your mind and body manifest, while also understanding the formal properties of watercolor and painting.
